The booking fee is paid within ten days of meeting
you to reserve the time, date, and covers the
registration of the notice of intention, with the
balance of the fee due at the rehearsal.
The fee includes the wedding ceremony, rehearsal,
travel within the metro area, table, 2 chairs and
tablecloth for the signing, and booklet containing
the ceremony
( I will provide a black pen for guest to use to
sign the rear of the book). A range of bridal
certificates. Please note: a small charge applies
per kilometre for travel outside of the metro area.

What if I am sick?
I am a member of the Australian federation of civil
celebrants who operate a backup service of 35
celebrants, who will, at no extra cost to you,
ensure your ceremony starts on time.
What
time does the ceremony start?
Wedding ceremonies must start on time, to be late
will effect the celebrant, cars, photographer,
videographer.
Guests sometimes arrive late, it is best to tell
them to arrive 30 minutes before the wedding so
everyone is there for the brides entry.
When and who is required at a rehearsal?
Only the bride and groom is needed. If you bring
anyone else it is on the understanding they take you
out for a meal after.
What
happens in inclement weather?
Have a backup plan in case it rains, a park with a
large covered gazebo would be ideal. Remember
umbrellas and warm clothing for the bridesmaids. I
can also suggest other areas which are available.
Where can
you hold ceremonies?
Ceremonies can be held anywhere in the metro area,
or outside the metro area.
How long
will the ceremony last?
The attention span of most people is between 20 and
25 minutes. Any longer than this and your guests
will lose interest.
Do you allow photographers to take photo during the
ceremony?
I have no problem with the photographer and guests
taking photographs during the ceremony, you need to
have memories after the wedding.
When should the groom arrive at the ceremony?
The groom should arrive 30 minutes before the
ceremony to greet the guests.
Do you recommend music during a ceremony?
Yes, it adds to the atmosphere of your ceremony.
Do you require amplification of your voice.
No, I am able to project my voice to the furthers
person at the ceremony, and of course, will be heard
well on your wedding video.
Do you recommend chairs to be supplied at a
ceremony?
I can supply a table, a tablecloth and two chairs
for the signing, but require assistance with
carrying them from my car and return.
Chairs for the elderly should be supplied by
yourselves.
Do you perform mini ceremonies within our ceremony?
Yes, these make the ceremony more interesting and
give a personal touch to your ceremony.
Mini ceremonies are casting of the stones, unity
ceremonies, butterflies, pigeons etc.
Do you
perform surprise ceremonies?
Yes, as long as the bride and groom has signed the
notice of intention according to the law.
What protection have we that you will perform our
ceremony as per our wishes?
The Australian Federal Attorney General has a code
of conduct all celebrants have to abide by.
A copy of this code can be supplied. If a civil
celebrant does not abide by these rules, they may be
fined and or loose their licence.
